7V7 & 5V5 FOOTBALL PROGRAM
About The Program
In 2026, the HB Chargers launched its inaugural 7v7 (non-contact passing league) and 5v5 lineman program—an off-season training and competition opportunity designed to keep athletes developing year-round. Open to players ages 8–14, the program focuses on position-specific skills, including route running, coverage techniques, footwork, and game strategy, all within a fast-paced, competitive, and high-energy environment.
The season runs January through April, with practices held twice weekly at Edison High School. Athletes can choose between training-only or competition team options based on their commitment level, experience, and goals. Competition teams participate in weekend tournaments throughout Orange County.
Incoming freshmen are coached by Edison High School’s football staff, helping ensure alignment with the next level of play and a smooth transition into high school football.

We’ll kick things off with a free clinic and combine in December, open to all interested athletes. The season runs January through April, with practices twice a week at Edison High School.
