7V7 & 5V5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQ'S
What is 7v7?
The 7v7 is a non-contact passing league that typically involves skill position players, such as quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, linebackers, and defensive backs, competing on a smaller field.
What is 5v5?
Five offensive and five defensive linemen compete head-to-head, one at a time, with points awarded to either the offensive linemen or defensive linemen based on whether the defensive lineman is able to get through the offensive line to the “quarterback (pylon)” within a certain time.
What is the difference between a 7v7 passing league and flag football?
Most flag leagues tend to be a little more recreational in nature, and the local flag leagues are played on significantly smaller fields. A 7v7 passing league is played with 7 players on offense and 7 players on defense on a full-width football field starting from the 40-yard line, and is in line with more traditional football. There are also no flags—it is two-hand touch.
